Kindergarten Easter Visit - April 7, 2009

37 students and 12 parents read bunny books to celebrate easter @ the library. The program was organized by Mrs. Siemens from the St. Patrick School.

April 2 Central School Grade 3 students presented Poetry Perk

Mrs. Choo Foo and her students from a Grade 3 class organized a Poetry Perk Celebration at the public library on April 2 from 6:30-8 pm. 75 parents and grandparents atttended the evening. 17 students read different types of poetry - feeling, shape, telephone, verb, and supposition. The chief guest for the evening was the Swift Current poet Anthea Loran.

Celebration of Colours Presentation at St. Patrick's School - April 1, 2009

Manisha Khetarpal visited a Grade 4 class at St. Patrick school on April 1, 1-2 pm, and did a cultural literacy session using fabrics, ethnic clothes, rangolis, stories, the internet and a powerpoint presentation.
